AlanaCiel blinked as he stepped away from her, as if she was waking up from a trance. Her body cooled off quickly as he wakled across the room. Plans? When did they make plans? He walked with such cool confidence and purpose… She watched him take her coat from the rack, a gentleman’s gesture which again surprised her. He wasn’t wrong about knowing she would follow his command to go to him. There wasn’t a woman alive that wouldn’t have. Well, she though, why not see what his plans were? The cool air outside would do her good anyway. Her lips still flushed from his kissed, she slipped her arms into the coat and pulled her long hair out from under it.

Aether could see the confusion in her features as she approached. “Yes, I made plans for us, Alana.” He added with a chuckle. Down along the sides of her coat, his hands did travel, enjoying the firmness beneath his touch. Finally, coming to the lapels of the jacket, a smirk eased about his features. He closed it upon the woman, almost as if he were dressing her. An intimate, moment passed, quietly as he made sure it would not blow open. “..We’re going a ways out of town.. Although, before we leave, I have something for you.” His words trailing off as he dipped a free hand into an inner pocket along his leather jacket. With it, a soft, though deep burgundy scarf was retrieved. He held it along his hands, his smirk held a hint of playfulness. “Do you trust me, Alana?” Even though it had been only a couple of days, he felt the insistant urge on protecting this woman. The urge grew more, and more, with each passing moment he spent in her company. With the arrival of the scarf, and her possible trust in losing one of her senses.. He knew it was only moments before his need to guide her, in ways she hadnt even imagined made it’s way to the surface. He still was unsure of her role among Shadow’s Fall.

AlanaCiel must have looked a deer in the headlights standing there just staring at him. His hands left a trail of tingles in the their wake, felt throug the coat, even as he closed it on her. She heard the words “a ways out of town” and watched him produce a scarf. Quickly her mind did calcuations again. Mananger of place + knows people in town = can’t be a kidnapper. Right? But what did trust have to do with a scarf? It was a pretty one, perhaps made of silk, she couldn’t tell in the dim light. She looked at his face, then to the scarf, back to his face… then reached out for the scarf, “yes, I trust you”, making that decision even as she spoke it.

“Put your hand down, then turn around.” His lips curling into an evil smile. He took note of her pause, the way she looked from him to the scarf in his hand, and back to him again. She was beautiful when caught of guard, and he couldnt wait to see her look of wonder she arrived at their destination.

AlanaCiel crinkled her brows together, really confused now, but she did as he said. It felt like playing Simon Says. He says come here, she does. He says put your hand down and turn around… She abandoned her grasp for the scarf, and turned around, back now facing him. He must mean to place it on her. Again, such a gentleman, not at all what she expected. “Where are we going?” she asked as she waited.

“Somewhere cold..” He teased, easing the scarf down along her features. Making sure the silken material covered all of her eye sight, he stepped around to assess her. The color of the scarf was striking against the tone of her skin. Her lips, still pink from the previous kiss. Again, she stirred something within him. Aether met her lips softly, as not to startle her. Stepping closer, he broke the kiss with a lick of her lips. “..Hold on to me.” Another command, no please given. Turning slowly he made his way out of the club and to the company car parked off to the left side. The keys jingled in his palm, the passenger side door opening. Pressing his palm against the curve of her back. “Tilt your head, and slide in, pet.” The warm endearment slipping from his lips.

AlanaCiel was suprised, needless to say, when the scarf was placed over her eyes and not around her neck. On any other given day, she would pulled it down or stopped him, or even shifted it with her hands so she could see slightly. But this was Simon Says, it was a game and it was fun and his kiss had left her mouth aching to be kissed again. She grinned, enjoying the playfulness of the moment, and simply let him tie it on. His footsteps were heard walking around her, and she could feel his warmth now in front of her. His gentle kiss and the lick of his lips was unexpected. Her whole body was alive with anticpation now. Reaching out for him she let him lead her out, the cold outside air blasting the parts of her face that weren’t covered. Even as he helped her into the car, she had a half smile. Half scared witless and half enjoying the thrill of a surprise. “…Pet?”. Alana had a way of asking one word questions when introduced to something new. She didn’t really need an answer, was already smiling at the endearing term.

“That is you…” He teased, kissing the top of her head before slipping through his door and into his seat. It felt like moments passed from leaving the Shadow Lands community and into a calm, peaceful area. Finally, they came to a place with little to no trees…Desolate almost, except a well worn path. “We walk from here..” Aether hopped from the car and opened her door. He grasped her hand, and ushered her from the car, and kept a steady hold of her. Indeed, the coat was grand idea. With no trees to break the bite of the wind, he shivered, and this time from the weather. “Walk with me a few steps..” He came to a stop just as he said he would, and stood before Alana.

Alana Ciel had become more nervous by the minute at they drove away from the club. She couldn’t see where there were going, she wouldn’t be able to get back on her own without a taxi if something went wrong. The further they drove, the more she cold hear and feel what was around her. The smell of the car, the sounds of the city gettign farther away. The stepped into a quiet area outside, onto gravel it felt like, no one else seemed to be nearby. Her heart was pouding, feet stepping carefully in whatever direction he led her. She had a death grip on his arm, afraid to let go. The cold wind whipped around them, so she huddled closer, “Where are we?”

Aether chuckled softly, coming to a quiet area, only the piano in view. “…Closer..” He whispered against her ear, pulling her flush against his body with the command. He nuzzled her gently against the neck before licking a small line against her flesh, tasting her. “..Beg me to remove the blindfold, Alana.” Aether’s hands found their way once more along her hips. Softly, faintly, the gentle keys of a piano could be heard.
AlanaCiel stepped forward when he pulled, thankful for the warmth of his body against hers. The whispered command to come closer so close to her ear, tongue sliding across her neck, made her shiver. But his instruction to beg for the blindfold off… sent a instant rush of heat searing through her. She stood here trying to process his request. Beg? Of course she wanted to know where they were, and why they where here, and who was playing a piano in the middle of nowhere. Actually, she wanted to know why the thought of begging to see it had just made her weak in the knees. “…” her mouth opened, ‘… will …” then almost whispered, her voice cracking, “will you please take the blindfold off?” then she smiled, like a child, “I want to see where we are”. When he didn’t answer right away she added, “… please?” placing her hands on his chest gently.

She warmed him from his toes to his chest where her hands rested gently. “Please…Sir..” He corrected, testing her limits. Not every woman would allow herself to be blindfolded, led to a remote area, and then..beg for the privilege of removing the blindfold. He’d been right on this one, she was submissive – Even if she didnt know it.

AlanaCiel hestitated, warm breath escaping her mouth as his words sunk in. She didn’t know what his game was, she didn’t know who he was hardly, and it was a crazy thing to come out here with a blindfold on, one that she could have easily removed herself. All she knew was this man made her feel like a small school girl and woman all at once. She bit her lip, still grinning playfully. “Please…” and then after a long pause, “… Sir?” still huddled close to him.

His fingers left the curve of her round bottom to remove the ends of the scarf, slowly, and sensually. “…Beautiful…” His one word audible for only her ears. “Good girl.” He praised and kissed her lips once. “…A winter wonderland for a beautiful woman.” He led her over to the lone tree, and gestured to the piano. An old man sat, playing a slow, haunting melody. “a secret winter wonderland, I should say..” He kissed her shoulder and squeezed her in close.

End of this scene.

Sat down with an audible “thump”, his weight sinking into the cushions. It had only been a day since seeing her at the cafe. One day! Aether had given in, left her flowers and card inside of her shop, SwaGGer. Honestly, he couldnt remember the last ‘suave’ mve he had pulled in some time. “Hey, Boss! Why in the hell do we have to clean? Dont you have janitors for this shit!” The only man on his staff with the balls to speak to him like that was his bouncer, Cairo. Six foot, three inches, a man with noticeable Irish looks, Cairo was his only confidant to come with him to the Shadow Lands. “..Shut the fuck up, and handle it Cai..” Came the calm response. Aether wanted everything spotless, hell knows the club needed a deep cleaning any way. He certainly didnt want Alana to think is establishment was seedy, and damn right filthy at best. His thumbs drummed along the arm of the seat, his eyes glancing from the door to Cairo and his other staff busting ass for him. It was almost Christmas, and the Red Velvet always saw foot track pick up around the holiday. He would be sure to give his employees a bonus. “…Finish up, then ya’ll can head home… But leave the door unlocked; nice job everyone.” With that, he watched as one by one left, the last being Cairo. “..Dont think I didnt see you, nigga.” He sneered, holding the door open. “You bought those flowers the other day.. now you’re cleaning. When am I going to meet her?” Aether chuckled and gave a wink to the man, almost as his brother. “…Soon, now go home… or to Shadows Fall, wherever it is you go when you leave here…” Cairo laughed and closed the door, blocking out the winters chill. Aether was left to his thoughts, though he wasnt entirely sure how good that was..

AlanaCiel took a step into the club, half considering stepping back out before she caught sight of Aether sitting inside. Aether looked confident and cool. He seemed to have that swagger she had named her store for. If he had already spotted her, she couldn’t just leave. But he seemed to be busy. She had dressed for the occasion, the shortest dress she could find in her closet. Her best guess was that he was used to pretty girls around him dressed in nearly nothing. She wanted to impress. Suddenly feeling conspicuous, she tried to tug the dress further down to cover her legs, but it just crept back up again. She smiled to one of the staff as he left the club, a big guy… must have been security. Stopping in the doorway, she waiting for a moment, looking around until he would notice her there. The place was small, and bit outdated but clean… red carpets and rich red wall panels made the place look more decadent than it seemed from the outside.
Little to Aether’s knowledge, the woman that had plagued his thoughts all day was standing just inside the Red Velvet. He’d closed his eyes, and breathed in deep – a relaxation technique he’d learn from his past. His brow furrowed, hearing the tell tale sound of heels against the marbled floor. When his eyes opened, he took in the sight of the woman before him. It was her, stunning, and seemingly confident. He studied her from across the room, quietly. Peering just over the rim of his glasses, a smirk eased along his lips. She’d come, and at a late hour… Seemingly shy at first, he could tell she was getting bold. The thought pleased him. Aether rose from the chair, clearing his throat. Certainly she couldnt see that he had sat in this chair from the moment the club closed down, till the moment she walked through his front door. It was a nervous gesture as he patted his clothing down, and approached Alana. “You made it..” His words low, and full of eagerness. “Welcome, to the Red Velvet..” Reaching forward to grasp her hand for a kiss, his eyes caught sight of her chest. Her skin really, tan and inviting.. The dip of the dress giving off a fine line of cleavage.

AlanaCiel ‘s breath caught in her throat as he walked towards her. There was no leaving now, he had seen her. Nothing to do now but stay a while. “Yes!… I made it,” she said, looking around everywhere except at him. “Nice place!”. Then he reached for her hand and she froze, letting him take it. His eyes seemed to travel over her, making her shift nervously. He was wearing a leather jacket she could smell across the short distance between them. She loved the smell of leather. Finally she choked out a few words, “um.. is it closing time?”

He pressed his lips firmly against her skin, kissing it for what seemed like a moment suspended in time. With a smile he rose, though kept her hand in his. If she pulled back, she would find that his grasp was loose.. And if she remained, he would usher forth a gentle, reassuring squeeze. “It is.” He responded, giving careful scrutiny of her reaction towards him. The dress she wore clung to her form, revealing all that she had to offer. “If there is not an event, I tend to close relatively on the safe side. Supply and demand..” Noticing her gaze landing every where else but him, he reached out with his free hand to steady her chin with two fingers. “You look beautiful, Alana.” He rubbed a slow circle along her chin before allowing his hand to drop from her face. “Come, let me show you the place.” A smile easily replacing the smirk against his lips. Something about her, the moment she stepped into the room.. everything seemed more real, more honest, more beautiful. Try as he may, there was no way in hell he could keep his distance from the woman.
AlanaCiel found her self looking into his eyes when he took her chin. Again, he had dared to touch her in a way most men would not. He pulse raced, chest rising and falling as she took a deep breath. Even as he took his hand away, her entire face tingled from the small circle he had traced on her chin. There was just something about him… Mesmerized, she let him lead her by the hand, taking in the sights and smells of the club.
She hadnt pulled her hand back, Aether took that as a go and walked about the sage. With an obious grin, “The stage..” Tonight was a simple dance night, and it was cleaned up easily. He was thankful it wasnt a ‘messy’ night, it wouldve took his crew much longer to do the deep cleaning he’d ask for. “Sanitized every morning and every night. Healthy dancers, the secret to staying open.” Shifting, he turned to nod to the tables and chairs. “Lap dances..” He stated off into the air, and headed towards the back. “There a couple of room’s upstairs.”
AlanaCiel scrutinzed the stage, dance poles reaching from floor to ceiling, dim lights. Images of what it might be like full of people and dancers flashed throug her mind. The air in the club still felt energized from the earlier crowd. Alana had done lap dances for boyfriends behind closed doors, but these lounge chiars were arranged in groups for very public dancing. She doubted they were the same type of lap dance either. When he lead her to the back and mentioned rooms upstairs, she panicked. “Woah… are we going up there?” stopping to resisit.

Aether felt the tug on his hand as she stopped. Her words reaching him.”A tour of the Velvet, nothing more.” He stated, smile faltering slightly. “..Are you afraid of a tour, Alana?” His question seeking more of her fears than just a simple tour. Aether let his words settle on the air, his hand slipping to only her fingers..and finally releasing them for the moment. He took this moment, to assess her. He’d felt her panic, and more importantly her resistance. “…You’ve only just met me, Alana. I dont expect you to instantly trust me, I am after all a stranger.” His proximity to the woman was still close, and he refused to take a step back. His lack of touching her was only for her benefit, he knew that she would need this moment alone. It was a vital moment, one of trust. Aether would definitely need her trust, all of it, for what he had in store for the future.

AlanaCiel found herself frozen again, his fingers slipping away from her hand until they were disconnected. She felt oddly uneasy, as if she were suspended in air and the safety cord had just been cut. Looking him in the eye, she took a breath, stammering, “I… I’m sorry.. just nervous” and she reached forward lightly touching his hand, asking silently for him to take hers again. As if the scent of his jacket and cologne were weren’t intoxicating enough, his whole body, so close to hers, seemed to radiate an engery that was exciting. Now embarassed she had perhaps let her mind jump to conclusions she added “I do want to see the club”.
Aether felt the touch of her fingertips, silently begging for his touch once more. Grasping her hand, he raised it to place another kiss against her fingers. And another, and one more for good measure with a slight squeeze. He really couldnt stop himself after the first kiss, and the smile returned.”Listen…Upstairs, there is a pool table.. A room with a very confortable sofa, I am told.” His breath hot against her knuckles. He hadnt moved her hand away from his lips, and applied a very soft brush of his lips. “Honestly, you’ll probably never visit up there. At least with me.”

AlanaCiel felt her knees grow weak, her fingers held up to his lips… those lips were so soft, so warm. She watched as they made contact with her hand, how they kissed and lightly brushed against her. His smile made her smile, it involuntary. He was saying something about a pool table, the words all blurring in her mind, and she took a step forward pressing her own body up against his, much like he had done to her the day before. One leg slightly between his. Electricity racing between them, they were face to face with only her hand in between as he finished whatever he was saying. Her eyes on his lips she moved in closer so that her mouth was only inches from his own.
His words had dwindled off into… He didnt remember. She was against him, suddenly hot..and soft, and smelled of something sweet. His eyes furrowed slightly, as thoughts eased through him. She had been cold a moment before, and with a slight turn of events.. She was hot. Aether wasnt one to complain. Instead, the moment her leg slipped between his, his thoughts shattered. The hand grasping hers, releasing her fingers and finding it’s way along the curve her hip. He held her there, firmly against him. All of him, his arousal increasing, stiffening. Licking his lips, hers were just inches away. He brought his free hand to tease along her jaw, and make it’s way into the brown locks of her hair. He grasped a hand full of dark tendrils, and yanked with enough force that her head could possibly be tilted back, exposing her throat.
AlanaCiel couldn’t take her eyes off of his mouth. She wasn’t sure when it happened but his hand was burning a hole in her hip, and a fire was burning between them everywhere his body was in contact with hers. Her nipples hardened against the tight fabric of her dress, like felt through his shirt, but she didn’t care. She saw his tongue dart out across his own lips and all she could think of was how she wanted to taste it. This stranger was like some kind of magnet she was drawn to. Just as she was reaching up to grasp his hip too in response, she felt his fingers in her hair. Her eyes closed, just for a moment, enjoying the sensation. A slight gasp escaped her lips when he pulled her head back. Another shot of fear coursed through her, mixed with a new rush or excitement. She placed a palm on his chest, otherwise afraid to move.

Her gasp, sent a shudder along his spine. He closed his eyes for just a moment, reveling in her form against her. She was feminine, curvy, and and responsive to his touch. Certainly she could feel how hard he was against her? Aether leaned forward to kiss the spot beneath her ear first, slowly..and kissed along the nape of her neck. The moment of trust became something darker, deeper… And he couldnt help the low groan that escaped him. Resisting the urge to bite down against her creamy skin, making her for all to know she was his. His hand released her hair, though supported her head as he trailed the final kiss against her skin.. “Alana…” The word low, audible, and full of a darker need. He licked his lips again, tasting the sweetness of her, and pressed her body in close with the hand against her hips. “..We..Um..” He began, chuckling softly before capturing her lips in a rough kiss, a claiming kiss.

AlanaCiel couldn’t help a soft “.. oh…” whispered as his lips traveled along the sensitive exposed area of her neck. She had wanted to kiss him, been drawn to him, but his intense passion was unexpected… and delicious. So was the hard evidence of his excitement, as they were hip to hip. Heat shot through the nerves between her legs. When his dark, exotic lips had finished their assault on her mouth, she stayed motionless for a moment, catching her breath before finally opening her eyes. Whatever had just happened it had made her head spin. There was something… primal about the way he kissed her, and it left her wanting more. “We.. what?” she answered, the words barely audible.
She sure was sweet, than he’d ever imagine. He chuckled, more of a gentle rumbling through his chest. His effect on her was delectable, much like the curve of her ass beneath his rough palm. “We have plans… ” He stated, his voice steadier than hers. It had been some time since he allowed a woman to affect him in such way. The grip along her waist never lessened, though Aether did withdraw himself from the entanglement of his limbs. He needed clarity, and her heat pressed so firmly against his erection wasnt what one could use to find a ‘clear’ sense. “Luckily, you brought along your coat..” Slipping from her warmth completely, it only took a moment to retrieve her trench coat from the racks behind the entrance area. “…Come here.” The words low, though audible within the empty strip club. His tone had changed, commanding, and definitely not allowing any rebuke. He held the woman with the same look, one of complete ‘knowing’, that she would indeed come as he beckoned.

He chuckled as she stumbled over her words. Suddenly, he pushed back against it, forcing his body away from the woman. Instantly, her heat.. her warmth vanished as cold fingers of air embraced him. Aether really hadnt noticed how much he sought touch be there sudden moment of close proximity. With a jab of his thumb pointed behind him, “The Red Velvet, just down that road. The club doesnt open until 9pm.. But like I said earlier, come by any time.” His eys never leaving hers, “It’s a strip club, so believe me, Alana..” Her name slipping between his lips. He was certain there were a few more things he wanted to slip between his lips of hers. “..There are a few things that will make you uncomfortable.” Taking a step back, his hands found their way into his pockets this time, “..Though, perhaps coffee one morning at the cafe.. Really, anywhere.” His smile was obvious, and he hadnt hid his attraction to the woman. In fact, he embraced almost every facet. Though the real test would be to see her within Shadows Fall. Aether tended to be relaxed, and easy going outside of the club. Though there were certain… aspects of his personality that remained dominant, for the most part he was a scene Master. The moment he stepped within the walls of Shadows Fall, his demeanor changed into a primal sense, as if he were always on the hunt. And he was, a hunt for a submissive of his own. Shaking his head free of the thoughts, “…I’m free now..” He offered.

AlanaCiel felt the same rush of cold air as the wind swept down the narrow street between them. She fought back the urge to grab his coat and pull him back to her. What had gotten into her? This guy was a stranger! No one had dared invade her space that way for years. Instead, pushing off the wall with her foot, she took a step forward wrapping her own arms around her body for warmth. When he said the words “It’s a strip club” her jaw dropped slightly in surprise. She had already agreed to go, can’t back out now… but that’s going to be uncomfortable arlight. With a glance over her shoulder again at the empty store, she turned back to him and replied, “Coffee. Yeah, I can do that. That sounds good, actually” Maybe there would be an opportunity to back out of the date already made.
Her reactions were priceless. He could only imagine what thoughts would run through her mind if she ever saw his apartment, his bedroom actually. “..Come on then..” He stated, offering the crook of his arm. So what if the damn cafe was literally thirty steps to the right. “You can tell me more about the store.. and possibly more about you.” Aether wouldnt push the subject of the dance, or even of visiing the strip club. As hell would have it, he felt her surprise when he mentioned his business. More than likely she was already planning her devious escape.

AlanaCiel slipped an arm into his, welcoming the invitation to get warm again next to him. She had run out of the house without her coat again, only a scarf wrapped loosely around her neck kept the chill off. And besides, she couldn’t exactly refuse the offer, that would be rude, wouldn’t it? As they headed across the street she felt an odd pang of familiarity with him, as if they met somewhere before. It must have been the way he had intruded into her personal space so quickly. It was instant attraction, really, but she would deny it. Leaning in close to him as they walked she started to ramble, “The business? oh.. it’s just a small shop you know… just getting started… ”

Aether hid his smirk as she looped her arm into his. “..We can sit in side, you must be freezing..” He whispered in low against her ear. He noticed that she leaned in close as they began walking, and the knowing smirk returned once more. “Ladie’s first..” His hands coming to rest against hers as he pushed the shop’s doors open, and allowed her entry first. In the short moment it took for him to position himself out of the way, he couldnt help himself as his gaze traveled south. He caught a glimpse of her flesh beneath the scarf she wore, and brought his gaze once more to her face. “Freezing..” He mentioned again chuckling. “Pink any seat, Alana. I’ll be right back.”

AlanaCiel scooted into the booth out of the chilly doorway. His eyes glancing over her were not missed. She was well aware that her shirt had popped open again. The button on it had been sewed back on twice now.. she would throw it away when she got home. In the meantime, at least he was enjoying the view. Alana wasn’t innocent and tended to be flirtatious at times, but she wasn’t exactly overt in making advances towards to men either. But letting him look at her cleavage was harmless enough, and she liked the attention. She like his attention. His touch on her hands could still be felt even as she sat at the booth waiting. How did he do that? She turned them over in front of her, looking at them. Palms, backs, palms again, backs again. Shaking it off, she tried to think. He seemed like a gentleman. He has said “ladies first” after all. But a strip club? What kind of man worked at a place like that? Curiousity was getting the best of her now.
Aether entered in after her, watching as she settled into the closest booth. Approaching the counter of the small cafe, he offered a nod to the cashier. “Two coffees, creams and sugars on a tray?” He questioned, reaching into his back pocket, the one without the smokes. Paying for the items, he glanced back momentarily, catching a glimpse of her playing with her palms. Shaking his head with idle laughter, he thanked the cashier and came over to the booth. “..Coffee, cream, and sugar.. not sure how you like it..” Sliding the tray against the wood of the table. Those who knew Aether might have seen the slight pause of hesistation, and suddenly he slid in next to her instead of in front of. “..I prefer cream and sugar in mine, lots…” His words held a heat to them, as if he were referring to something else. The mugs were warm to the touch, and the liquid swirled before him as he added the sugar and cream.

AlanaCiel cupped her hands around the warm mug, leaning over to inhale the steam and delicous smell. The emphasis on the words sugar and cream stuck in her mind for a moment… what did he mean.. exactly? Whatever it was, the way he said made her turn to look at him. Flashing a friendly smile, her best networking tool, “I like mine black.” Taking a careful sip, she decided to ask questions, find out more about him. “So… the Red Velvet… You manage it?”

Aether laughed softly beside her as she retorted. “It’s a good thing I didnt put anything in yours then.” The liquid had cooled with the additions of cream sugar, enough that he could take a soothing sip. “Coffee.. You can sleep when youre dead..” His voice joking as he took another gulp. “Yes, though it is a recent acquisition of mine. The position was open, and I have the general qualifications needed for running a business like it.” Aether was well aware that it was her turn to ask the questions, though he was surprised she didnt object the moment he sat in close beside her. He obstructed a way for her to leave, and that was more than likely precisely the point. “I’ve a bachelor’s degree in business.” His fingers drummed along the warm mug, and angled his body to face her. In doing so, his leg pressed in against hers, and he sipped the cooling beverage again.

AlanaCiel laughed at his coffee joke, raising her mug in agreement. The calculations were made quickly: aquisition, experience + degree in business = must be a respectable… right? Something told her there was a puzzle peice missing but it sounded good. Just when she was letting her guard down, his leg pressed against hers, another invasion of personal territory. He was bold. A tingle of excitement ran up her leg as the moment called for either moving away to avoid him, or staying there, enjoying it. She looked at his face again, those lips that had been so close to hers just moments ago near her shop door. She leaned back, almost snuggling into him, against the booth. It was crazy, and dangerous, but she felt a thrill and wanted more. “and the girls dance… naked? or partially clothed?”

Her smile, there it was again. Warming him in more places than this coffee ever could. Her eyes glanced to his face, then to his lips. He couldnt help himself, and licked them slowly as he listened to her. And without any notice, she leaned in closer, her warmth and scent permeating his senses. “…There are prices..” He began, adjusting his arm so that it wrapped along the back of her, protective almost. In fact, he felt protective of her the moment her bad balance sent her toppling out of her store front. He chuckled at the thought, and squeezed her in closer. His body humming with the excitement, and his arousal growing heady as the innocent conversation went on. “Though, they dance at times with costumes that are removed during an event.” He sipped his coffee, clearing his mind from thoughts of her up on his stage, a private night for the two of them. “I have a big event planned in Januaury, a burlesque night.”

AlanaCiel felt her breath catch in her throat as his arm drew up around her. He was so warm, and he gave off a air of strength both frightened and comforted her at the same time. The talk of naked women, costumes coming off and burlesque dancers was heating her up. She couldn’t help it. It must be like those Carmen Electra excercise videos bought years ago, still in a box somewhere at her apartment. Feeling so warm now, she pulled off her scarf from around her neck and set it in the seat, fanning her self. “Wow they have the heat turned up in here don’t they?” So… what did he want with her, then? He must have every girl in the place wanting to go home with him after work. “Ah, that’s good to know, I could open my shop late that night and get some extra business from the foot traffic”

Cat hair and dust clung to the fabric of his blazer as he exited the dim lighting of the Red Velvet Club. A puff of smoke billowed from his cigarette, as he puffed once then twice. A soft chuckle could be heard as he dusted the damn hair and what mustve been dust from his moderate cleaning of his establishment. He’d need find some women soon to take the stage, other the one girl that worked currently. His green gaze glanced about the quiet streets, a few car lights flashing by as he began his morning stroll. It helped clear his mind, settle his priorities. He rose his hand in thanks to a passing car as he crossed the street, scarf clutched to his neck briefly as a gust of wind blow. And be damned if that wind had a mind of it’s own, lifting the cig held loosely between his lips and blowing near a few street shops. “Damn it..” He cursed, finding the irreplaceable piece of nicotine smushed from the the feet of pedestrians. Glancing up, he panted his pants hoping he’d had a packet on him, and that’s when his attention caught sight of the woman. She stood before him in a shop’s window, an empty shop as it were.

Alana Ciel kicked another dust bunny away from the window, making a mental note to pick up a broom and some cleaning supplies for this place. The new shop was small, but it had been unoccupied for a long time and would need work to bring it up to par. She couldn’t wait to have the winter clothing line brought in but the timing wasn’t right just yet. Looking up, out the window at the Christmas lights, something else caught her eye, or someone rather. A man seemed to be searching for something in his coat, his wallet perhaps. His looks were striking, even from this distance… maybe it was the fedora and jeans combo. She liked that. One step to the left placed her strategically behind the door frame of the shop, where she would watch him for a moment, grinning at his antics.

The moment he thought he caught a glance of the woman, he blinked, and she was gone. His held tilted to the side as he felt the tell tale cartridge of smokes in his left back pocket. With almost practiced ease, another slim cigarette was retrieved, lit and his lips once more. Returning the smokes to his pocket once more he took the time look over the empty store front. He couldnt tell much, but he assumed it be something other than food. That much he was sure of it. Aether puffed once and stepped closer, to peer into the glass. He was certain he had saw someone, a figure, a woman. His brow furrowed slightly, wondering if his mind decided to play a cruel game on him. He puffed once, and his close proximity of the glass made for a sight. The smoke blew back into his countenance, obscuring much inside for a moment.

Alana Ciel laughed, peering around the open doorway. He seemed relaxed, unhurried, a bit disheveled.. and definitely looking for something. She clung to the door frame, leaning out, flashed her best smile asking, “Hi there. Did you need something?” The cigarette smoke drifted towards her. She secretly breathed in a extra deep breath of it, enjoying the smell. It had been years since she quit, but the smell still comforted her somehow. Her her hand started to slip off the door frame as she leaning a little too far out. Awkwardly, she stumbled out onto the sidewalk, feeling foolish.

There! He wasnt going insane! That was his first thought as he heard the laughter. The sound came from a woman, and he was proven correct the moment her voice reached him. And the moment his eyes caught hers, as well as her smile.. He had stopped noticing all else. Clearing his throat, he began to speak, the woman’s own balance seemingly off as she tumbled out the door. Without a thought, he went to her, slipping a hand against her arms as if she would need steadying. “Just taking a walk..” He finally answered her, gripping her tightly for a moment. In his moment of hesitation when he first noticed the woman, had taken a careful scrutiny. And now? He stepped back, removing his hold along her. “Noticed the shop here.” The cigarette was removed and stepped on along the street. “Sorry if the smoke bothered you.” His hands took to waving the smoke from his face, and then could he return the smile she offered him.

Alana Ciel froze for a moment. His grip on her arm was an intrusion, even if he meant to help. It suddenly occured to her that he could be a mugger or something. Still… something in his eyes, barely perceived behind his glasses, had told her another story. She let out the breath she was holding when he let go of her, but her arm still felt his touch there. His smile made her laugh again, althout nervously this time. Stuffing her fingertips into her pockets, “Yeah… it’s new. I mean, it’s not open yet. I mean, yeah… obviously, there is nothing in it.” Blushing at her own idiocy, she waved her own hand around. “The smoke doesn’t bother me. The butt on the ground does though. Are you from around here?

The smile offered slipped along the edges, slightly, and slowly eased into a comfortable grin. He had noticed her discomfort the moment his grasp made contact with her, and had stepped back accordingly. He had no intentions of frightening her, in fact, he hadnt any intentions until 20 seconds ago. Clearing his throat, he kicked the smothered cigarette butt back behind him, and gestured with his hands towards the empty shop. “What are you selling?” He asked of the woman, and chuckled suddenly. “I’m Aether, by the way.” He caught sight of her blush and the comfortable grin melted into a knowing smirk. “..I’m usually hidng with the Red Velvet Club” He answered, “Though no, I am not from around here. Moved here a month ago.”

Alana Ciel stood there staring at him as he talked, hands in her pockets, his grin making her grin back. She had no idea what the Red Velvet club was, so just nodded as if it was common knowledge. There would always be time to find out later. A silent moment passed, staring and nodding, until she realized he had asked her something. Running her fingers through her hair, then flipping it back out of the way, she looked back at the store, then back to him, flustered, “Oh, I have a new clothing line coming out. Just casual, nothing special really. I’m new here, too, actually. I heard some developers are bringing this part of the city up a bit, so thought I’d get a spot before the rates go up. … what’s the Red Velvet?” Her hands shifting from the front pockets now to the back pockets. She leans casually against he door frame.

“I didnt catch your name..” His words trailing off into the air. He chuckled once more as she looked to an fro from the place behind her. “I wish you well in your business venture..” He began, stepping closer, the tension from before dissappating slowly. “I’ve seen the development you speak of, and I believe your store would give an incentive to a type of demographic..” He was certain she probably didnt expect him to have an ounce of business sense, and for some odd reason, the need to impress was clear to him. “It’s a… Dance club, though on a different pedestal than Shadows Fall.” A thought occurred to him. if she was new to the area.. She wouldnt know much about Shadows Fall, or of what exactly.. the community was fashioned of. “Have you been to Shadows Fall?”

AlanaCiel continued to lean there, one foot up behind her on the wall. His approach no longer worried her, she had decided she liked him, the moment he said “demographic”. Intelligent men turned her on, not to mention the grip he had on her earlier still lingered in her mind. There was something about this guy that was… different. She nodded at his answer. “I’ve heard of Shadows Fall. Never been in there, though.” It wasn’t the sort of place you just wandered into without a good friend or a date to watch your back. Her assumption was that the Red Velvet was just a regular night club then. That was more in her comfort zone. “When it the Velvet open? I’ll come by and get a drink one night”.

What had started to be a simple walk to clear his thoughts, was turning into something much more. That is, if the definition of much more were to include his wandering thoughts of her and him within the confines of Shadows Falls. His approach came to a stop, a couple of feet from her. “..Theyre throwing a party next Saturday night.. ” He began, “In fact, it would be a good time to show you around there.” Aether let the information settle quietly, his gaze exploring not only her physically beauty, though quietly imploring she got the subtle hint of his offer. “Although, having a nameless date would be a first me.” The smirk ever present along his. He ignored her last question, for the moment. He had plans for the ‘future’, as he would certainly take her up on the drink offer tonight if she were available. The noticeable *ding ding” sound of an approaching bicycle cause him to side step the swift moving messenger. His reaction sent his self pressing in even closer to the woman, her presence definitely known to him. Their height difference allowed him a momentary glance along her chest that was revealed. He didnt move, he didnt want to. “..Sorry” Was all that he offered, his chest pressed firmly in against her.
AlanaCiel bit her lower lip as she usually did when something confused her or she was in deep thought. He must have been talking about the Red Velvet having a party, unless he didn’t hear her last question right.. or was he? If he was talking about Shadows Fall, that would be whole different kind of party. The way he was looking at her though, made her think that’s what he meant. An unexpected rush of excitement passed through her at the thought of it, or maybe it was the way he was pressed up so close to her suddenly. It had happened so fast, the bike messager had gone nearly unnoticed. Just a faint “ding ding” rang in head as her nipples hardened against his chest. She reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, not moving and not pushing him away. Blushing again at her failure to tell him her name she looked away before turning her eyes up to his, grining “um.. I’m Alana. It’s nice to meet you.” She didn’t answer yes or no to his question. His presence and close proximity had her brain scrambled now.

The moment he came in close, his heart rate had increased. His breathing became calculated, and he maintained his cool. Cool, that was it, suave, cool. She hadnt made a move to push or even to side step, and he certainly couldve found a way to avoid pressing close. “Alana..” Her name sweet against his tongue. “A beautiful name for such an attractive woman..” Aether compared her reactions to his proximity, to a small creature. Not quite frightened, and yet unsure of what move to make next. “It’s been more than nice meeting you, Alana..” He couldnt help but say the name once more, his voice dropping low. “It’s been a pleasure.” He chuckled, chest rumbling against hers. Reaching forward, he pressed his hand into the wall, grateful for the solid touch. It grounded him to the here and now, as well as placing him in a ‘looming’ position over her. He cared not if passersby glanced their way, though he was certain some would recognize him as a Sir of Shadows Fall. “..The party, is at Shadows Fall.” He began, giving in to a sudden impulse, pressing his full form in against the woman. Somethng about her, drove him.. to a point where he needed more. In fact, took all that he possessed not to grip her by her hair and drag her off somewhere more discrete. “And as for drinks.. For you, the Red Velvet is open at any hour.”

AlanaCiel sucked in a breath as he bodly moved in against her. It was yet another intrusion, but it charged her with energy. Just moments ago this man had been a complete stranger and now she could feel his form against her, smell the cigarettes on his breath, and his voice… it was smooth and low, melting her like butter they way he said her name. What was wrong with her letting him move in her this way? But she couldn’t resist. Well.. she didn’t want to. Clearing her throat, she finally answered, looking down, “Any hour, huh? Ok, that’s good to know… ” biting her lip again, “Um.. sure, I’ll go the party… but I uh… I’ve never been in a place like that. I mean…” She didn’t know what to say anymore. It was all she could do to not slide out from between him and the wall and make a run for it. She waved her hands around for a moment before stuffing them back into her back pockets, the movement thrusting her forwards against him slightly more. There was just no other place to put them and she didn’t dare touch him, for some reason.

The tension in the air when they met mustve have known this was coming, as a tension settled in against frame. He wasnt moving. That much was certain, and the moment she bit her lip, his eyes darkened. “Ah.. Perhaps I’ll take you up on that drink tonight? And we could talk about the club.” He questioned, chest rising slowly. That was until she thrusted against him more. He stiffened, and not only in his frame. “Alana.. if I am making you uncomfortable?…” The last word trailing off. He musve been, he had only known the woman for all of ten minutes. Yet here he was, damn near about to eat her alive. He noticed she never made another move, and her hands found their respective place in her pockets once more. “It isnt my intention.”

AlanaCiel looked up at his face as he spoke, getting a good look at his mouth, his eyes better seen now behind the lenses he wore, the strong line of his jaw… She felt him stiffen against her and her own body reacted instantly, heat between her legs, her pulse racing. Alana knew full well it was indeed his intention to make her uncomfortable, and he was doing find job of it. What she was going to do about it was another story. Any other man she would have kneed in the groin by now and run away, but this guy had something… and she wanted to know what it was. Regaining her composure a bit, she licked her ips, “Tonight? Sure.. I can do that… I mean, I’d like that.” She hated herself for stammering like a fool. Looking directly into his eyes, she finally said, “You make me very uncomfortable, actually”. Then, smiling, she added, “but I think I like it”.
